Vyksa Steel Works posts increased steel pipe output for Jan-Oct

Russian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Vyksa Steel Works, a part of Russia-based OMK Group, has announced its production results for the January-October period of the current year.

Accordingly, in the given period, Vyksa Steel Works' output of steel pipes amounted to 1.3 million mt, up 10 percent year on year, including 740,000 mt of large diameter (LD) pipes, up more than 20 percent year on year.
In the first 10 months of the current year, Vyksa Steel Works' output of railway wheels decreased by 36 percent year on year to 343,000 wheels.

In the January-October period, OMK's Casting-Rolling Complex (CRC) increased production of hot rolled coiled steel by six percent year on year to 780,000 mt. A total of 245,000 mt of strips and 23,700 mt of sheets were produced at the complex in the period under review.
