VSP reports strong result for February

Indian steelmaker Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) reported a sales turnover of Rupees 8.62 billion ($194 million) in February, up 18 percent from a year earlier. For the two months of the year, the sales turnover of VSP reached $72.81 billion ($1.6 billion), up 5 percent year on year. The company has achieved its best result in February since inception in production of hot metal, liquid steel, cast bloom, billets, bars, wire rods and saleable steel.
