Vietnam sees 10.2 percent rise in finished steel output in Q1

According to Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade, in the first quarter of the current year Vietnam's finished steel production amounted to 1.3 million mt, rising by 10.2 percent year on year. Meanwhile, Vietnam's inventories of finished steel products and semi-finished steel products at the end of the quarter stood at 360,000 mt and 580,000 mt respectively.

The ministry said that domestic steel supply and demand were in equilibrium in the quarter in question.
