Venezuela’s automotive production increases in January

Venezuela’s automotive production output increased 63.51 percent in January, year-on-year, according to data from the nation’s automotive association, Cavenez.

Output in the period reached 484 units, while in the same period of 2014 that number was 296. Compared to December’s production total of 4,747 units, output decreased 89.8 percent in January.

According to Canevez, Venezuela produced 19,759 cars in the full-year 2014, 72.4 percent less that the 71,753 units produced in 2013.
