Vallourec supplies 14,000 mt of premium tubular products

France-based tube and pipe producer Vallourec has announced that it will supply 14,000 mt of premium tubular products for the Stampede Project in the US Gulf of Mexico. Stampede is a deepwater subsea development which is located in the Green Canyon Block area, approximately 115 miles south of Fourchon, Louisiana.

The contract for the project covers 5,000 mt in various sizes of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) for critical deepwater development wells, including high performance premium grades from Europe and Ohio. The contract also covers 9,000 mt of seamless steel line pipe for flowlines and a steel catenary riser (SCR).
