Vale acquires new software for inventory management

Brisbane, Australia-based Oniqua Enterprise Analytics, a leading provider of analytics-based asset performance management solutions, announced on February 3 that the world's leading iron ore producer Vale has chosen Oniqua Analytics Suite to manage its strategic inventory management initiatives across its operations in Brazil.

Oniqua's analytics solutions are currently used by the world's leading companies in the oil and gas, mining, utilities and transportation industries, including Vale, Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton and Xstrata, a press release by the company said.
