Uttam Galva increases galvanized prices

Uttam Galva Steels Ltd, India's second largest galvanized steel manufacturer, reportedly hiked prices of all its galvanized steel products due to the rising manufacturing costs. The prices of galvanized steel products have been increased by Rupees 1,000/mt ($22.2/mt) with immediate effect. Uttam Galva officials indicated that they may consider more price hikes across all categories near term.
