The Associated Press Tuesday reported that Dallas, Texas-based Atmos Energy, the largest natural-gas-only distributor in the United States, agreed to replace approximately 100,000 steel lines which deliver natural gas to 3.2 million residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and public-authority customers.

It was further reported that customers will be charged 15 cents per month to help offset the cost of the line replacement.  The proposal still faces approval by the cities of Fort Worth, Plano, Richardson, and Arlington.
