US structural pipe and tube exports rise 4.4 percent in February

US exports of structural pipe and tube totaled 13,566 mt in February, up 4.4 percent from January and up 4.6 percent from February 2016 levels. By value, structural pipe and tube exports totaled $16.3 million in February, compared to $15.2 million in the previous month and $15.1 million the same month last year.
 
The US shipped the most structural pipe and tube to Canada in February, with 9,637 mt, compared to 9,316 mt in January and 8,704 mt in February 2016. Other major destinations included Mexico, with 3,352 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or over) for US structural pipe and tube exports in February.
