US Steel announced Wednesday its plans to resume a five-day work week at its plant in Kosice, Slovakia. SteelOrbis previously reported this story on December 16, 2011, when US Steel first announced to cut back the days of the work week of the Slovak plant due to the uncertainty of the economic environment.  As the amount of orders for the plant have increased, the decision was made to resume the five-day work week.
