US Steel Serbia opens rolling unit

The Smederevo, Serbia-based subsidiary of the Pittsburgh-based United States Steel Corporation (US Steel) announced Tuesday that it has opened a new roll servicing unit at its cold rolling mill.

The Serbian Roll Service Company is part of a joint venture with Canadian Court Holdings Ltd. and cost an estimated $5 million.
