US Steel appoints new VP and Controller

US Steel announced Wednesday that it has appointed Colleen Darragh to serve as vice president and controller, effective immediately.

Darragh is based at the company's Pittsburgh headquarters and has served as acting controller since July 2014, and will be responsible for US Steel's global financial accounting, reporting and analysis function.

Prior to joining US Steel in 2006 as director of external reporting, Darragh served in accounting and finance roles at PPG Industries Inc.
