US Steel announces management changes

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based United States Steel Corporation announced Monday management changes at its European and North American operating facilities.

US Steel's Clairton, Pennsylvania plant manager Mark G. Tabler has been named VP of operations at US Steel Kosice, the company's steelmaking subsidiary in the Slovak Republic. Tabler succeeds Patrick J. Mullarkey, who November 15 was named president of Pittsburg, California- based United Spiral Pipe, the company's large-diameter spiral welded pipe manufacturing joint venture located in Pittsburg, California.  James F. Dudek will succeed Tabler as plant manager of the Clairton Plant.  The changes are effective December 1.
