The US International Trade Commission (US ITC) today determined that a US industry is materially injured by reason of imports of ferrovanadium from Korea that the US Department of Commerce (DOC) has determined are sold in the United States at less than fair value.

Chairman Rhonda K. Schmidtlein, Vice Chairman David S. Johanson, and Commissioners Irving A. Williamson, Meredith M. Broadbent, and F. Scott Kieff voted in the affirmative.

As a result of the ITC’s affirmative determination, the DOC will issue an antidumping duty order on imports of this product from Korea. Preliminary margins, announced in November 2016, ranged from 4.48-54.69 percent.
