The US Department of Commerce (DOC) recently extended the three-year agreement to suspend the antidumping duty investigation on certain OCTG from Ukraine for an additional year.

In December 2016, Interpipe Ukraine requested the agreement, which was scheduled to end July 10, 2017, to be extended by an additional five years until July 10, 2022. In January 2017, the US petitioners filed a letter in opposition to the request to extend the agreement. After reviewing with petitioners, the DOC signed an amendment to the initial agreement providing a one-year extension to end on July 10, 2018, at which time the DOC will issue an antidumping order.
