On April 5, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review for stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings imported from Malaysia for the period February 1, 2005, through January 31, 2006. The review covered Kanzen Tetsu Sdn Bhd and Sapura-Schulz Hydroforming Sdn Bhd. Since petitioners withdrew their requests within 90 days of the initiation of the administrative review, the DOC decided to rescind the review on stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Malaysia.
