The
US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Monday the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping order on circular welded non-alloy steel
pipe (standard
pipe) from
Mexico.
The review originally covered eight companies – Conduit S.A. de C.V. (Conduit); Lamina y Placa Comercial, S.A. de C.V. (Lamina y Placa); Productos Laminados de Monterrey S.A. de C.V. (Productos Laminados); Mueller Comercial de
Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Mueller); Productos Ternium
Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (Ternium); Prolamsa Inc. (Prolamsa); PYTCO, S.A. de C.V. (PYTCO); and Tuberia Nacional, S.A. de C.V. (Tuberia Nacional) – during the period from November 1, 2012, through October 31, 2013.
Subsequent to the initiation of this review, the requests were withdrawn for reviews of Conduit, Lamina y Placa, Mueller, PYTCO, Ternium, and Tuberia Nacional. Accordingly, the DOC rescinded the review of these companies.
The DOC calculated a final dumping margin of 7.33 percent for Productos Laminados.
Accordingly, effective April 13, 2015, the dumping duty deposit rate became 7.33 percent for Productos Laminados. In addition, the DOC will send instructions to
US Customs and Border Protection to liquidate imports that were entered during the period of review at the applicable dumping rate.
The current dumping duty deposit rates for the following companies remain unchanged: Lamina y Placa (formerly Tuberia Nacional) – 2.92 percent; Mueller – 13.70 percent; Ternium – 48.33 percent; and Conduit and PYTCO – 36.62 percent.
