US DOC postpones final determination in Chinese stainless sheet and strip investigation

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) is postponing the deadline for issuing a final determination in the less than fair value investigation of stainless steel sheet and strip from the China, and is extending the provisional measures from a four-month period to a period not more than six months.
 
On September 14, 2016, Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., a mandatory respondent in this investigation, requested that the DOC fully extend the deadline for the final determination. On September 19, 2016, the DOC published the preliminary determination, and has now approved the request for postponement.
 
Accordingly, the DOC will issue the final determination no later than February 1, 2017.
