On June 4, the Department of Commerce (DOC) announced its affirmative final determinations in the antidumping (AD) duty and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations on imports of certain wire decking from China.

The US DOC said that it determined that Chinese producers/exporters have sold wire decking in the United States at less than normal value, determining dumping margins from 14.24 percent to 143.00 percent.

In the CVD investigation, the DOC determined that Chinese producers/exporters have received net subsidies margins of 1.52 to 437.11 percent.

The US International Trade Commission (USITC) is to issue its final injury determinations on July 18, 2010, which might lead to AD and CVD orders in the event of affirmative decisions.

The petitioners for the investigations are AWP Industries, Inc. (Kentucky), ITC Manufacturing, Inc. (Arizona), J&L Wire Cloth, Inc. (Minnesota), Nashville Wire Products Mfg. Co., Inc. (Tennessee ), and Wireway Husky Corporation (North Carolina).
