US DOC keeps duty margin on Brazilian pipes unchanged

On September 29, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain small diameter seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line and pressure pipe (seamless pipe) from Brazil for the period August 1, 2005, through July 15, 2006. In the preliminary results dated July 11, 2007, the DOC determined that sales of the subject merchandise by V & M do Brasil S.A (VMB) were not made below normal value. Accordingly, the preliminary duty margin at the level of 0.00 percent was set for the producer.

Upon receiving no comment on the preliminary results, the DOC has decided not to make any change in the preliminary results. Accordingly, the final results of this review do not differ from the preliminary results.
