On January 12, 2009, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order against certain stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings imported from Taiwan.

Based upon the analysis of the response received from Taiwanese producer Ta Chen Stainless Pipe Co. Ltd (Ta Chen) on August 7, 2008, the DOC made changes to the margin calculated for this producer.

Accordingly, the final weighted-average dumping margin determined for Ta Chen is 2.45 percent for the period June 1, 2006, through May 31, 2007.

As the DOC received no comments from other producers as regards its intention to rescind, it is rescinding the review with respect to the Taiwanese pipe fitting producers Liang Feng, Tru-Flow, Censor, and PFP.

The pipe fittings subject to the order are classifiable under subheading 7307.23.00 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule included in the scope of the order.
