US DOC issues final AD and CVD decisions on magnesia carbon bricks from two countries

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) Wednesday announced affirmative final determinations in its antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of magnesia carbon bricks from China and its AD investigation of Mexico.

The DOC calculated the following final dumping margins for China: RHI-Refractories Liaoning Co., Ltd. - 128.10 percent; Separate rate respondents - 128.10 percent; and all other Chinese producers and exporters- 236.00 percent

The DOC calculated the following final subsidy margins for China: RHI Companies - 24.24 percent; Mayerton Companies - 253.87 percent; all others - 24.24 percent 

The DOC calculated the following final dumping margins for Mexico: RHI-Refmex S.A. de C.V. - 57.90 percent; all other Mexican producers and exporters - 57.90 percent

The US International Trade Commission will make its final determination in the injury phase of these investigations on August 26, 2010.
