US DOC initiates review of pipe and tube, OCTG and stainless plate

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the initiation of administrative reviews of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with a May anniversary date. 

The DOC initiated the following administrative reviews of AD orders involving steel products:

(a)  Stainless steel plate in coils from Belgium (A-423-808)--Aperam Stainless Belgium N.V.

(b)  Oil country tubular goods from China (A-570-943)--more than 200 companies

(c)  Circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Taiwan (A-583-008)--Chung Hung Steel Corp.; Kao Hsing Chang Iron & Steel Corp. (a.k.a. Kao Hsiung Chang)

(d)  Circular welded carbon steel pipe and tubes from Turkey (A-489-501)--Borusan Group and affiliated companies; Yucel Group and affiliated companies; Toscelik Profil ye Sac Endustrial A.S. (including Toscelik Metal Ticaret A.S. and Tosyali Dis Ticaret A.S.); and Erobosan Erciyas Born Sanayi ye Ticaret A.S.

The period of review is May 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012.There were no initiations of any administrative reviews of CVD orders involving steel products.
