On April 22, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an administrative review of the countervailing duty order on certain welded carbon steel standard pipe from Turkey covering the period of review January 1, 2004, through December 31, 2004. In the preliminary results dated April 6, 2006, the DOC determined that the total estimated net countervailable subsidy rate for Turkish producer Borusan Group was 0.27 percent ad valorem, which is de minimis. Based on the comments received, the DOC decided not to revise the net subsidy rate for the Borusan Group. Accordingly, the total net subsidy rate for the producer is 0.27 percent as valorem, which is de minimis.
