Upon the request of petitioners, the US Department of Commerce (DOC), on August 29, 2005, initiated an antidumping administrative review on stainless steel sheet and strip (SSSS) in coils imported from South Korea. The review covered thirteen South Korean producers/exporters during the period July 1, 2004, through June 30, 2005. In the preliminary results dated April 10, 2006, the DOC decided to rescind the review with respect to eight producers since they had not exported the subject merchandise to the US during the period of review. The eight producers are BNG, Hyundai, NIC, POSCO, Samkyoung, Sammi, Samwon, and Sun Woo. In the preliminary results, the weighted-average dumping margins for the remaining five producers were as follows:

Producers Margin

Boorim Corporation.........................58.79 percent
Dae Kyung Corporation......................58.79 percent
DaiYang Metal Co Ltd........................2.95 percent
Dine Trading Co Ltd........................58.79 percent
Dosko Co Ltd...............................58.79 percent
Based on the comments received, the DOC has decided to make changes in the margin calculation for DaiYang Metal Co., Ltd. (DMC). Therefore, the final results of this review differ from the preliminary results. As a result of the changes in the margin calculation, the final dumping margin for DMC has been increased to 3.77 percent, while the final dumping margins remain at their previous levels for the remaining respondents.
