On October 25, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review for imports of steel concrete reinforcing bars from Latvia. The review covers one Latvian producer/exporter, JSC Liepajas Metalurgs, during the period September 1, 2004, through August 31, 2005. In the preliminary results dated August 8, 2006, the DOC determined a duty margin of 6.03 percent for the subject producer. Based on the comments received, the DOC has decided to make changes to the margin calculation. Accordingly, the final duty margin existing for the period September 1, 2004, through August 31, 2005 is as follows:

Producer/exporter Margin

JSC Liepajas Metalurgs...................5.94%
