On January 3, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings imported from Italy, Malaysia, and the Philippines. On the basis of the notices of intent to participate and adequate substantive responses filed on behalf of domestic interested parties and no response or inadequate responses from respondent interested parties, the DOC conducted expedited sunset reviews of these orders. As a result of these reviews, the DOC decided that revocation of the antidumping duty orders would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at the levels listed below:

Countries/Producers Margin
Italy
Coprosider S.p.A....................................26.59%
All others..........................................26.59%
Malaysia
Kanzen Tetsu Sdn. Bhd................................7.51%
All others...........................................7.51%
The Philippines
Enlin Steel Corporation.............................33.81%
Tung Fong Industrial Co Inc..........................7.59%
All others...........................................7.59%
The rates do not indicate any changes compared to the notice dated February 23, 2001, regarding initiation of the antidumping duty orders.
