US DOC: Final results of AD review on certain WR from Mexico
On October 29, 2002, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on carbon and alloy steel wire rod imported from Mexico. Upon requests of certain US producers, the DOC, on November 19, 2004, initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on carbon and alloy steel wire rod imported from Mexico. The review covered the period October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2004. The DOC preliminarily determined that during the period of review, Hylsa Puebla, S.A. de C.V (Hylsa Puebla), and Siderurgica Lazaro Cardenas Las Truchas S.A de C.V, and its affiliate, CCC Steel GmbH (collectively SICARTSA) sold subject merchandise at less than normal value (NV). Accordingly, in the preliminary results, weighted average dumping margins existing for the period October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2004, were 4.97 percent for Hylsa Puebla, and 4.28 percent for SICARTSA. Upon the comments received, the DOC made changes in the preliminary results. Accordingly, final results differ from the preliminary results. The final weighted-average dumping margins for the subject producers are as follows:
