US DOC: Final results of AD review on certain pipes from Turkey

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) published the final results of an antidumping duty new shipper review on certain welded carbon steel standard pipe and tube imported from Turkey. On May 15, 1986, the DOC imposed an antidumping duty on certain welded carbon steel standard pipe and tube imported from Turkey. Upon a request by the respondent, Toscelik Profil ve Sac Endustrisi A.S., Toscelik Metal Ticaret A.S., and its affiliated export trading company, Tosyali Dis Ticaret A.S., (collectively, “Toscelik”), the DOC, on June 30, 2005, initiated an antidumping duty new shipper review for the period May 1, 2004, through April 30, 2005. In the preliminarily results dated May 3, 2006, the DOC determined that Toscelik did not make sales below normal value during the period of review. Accordingly, the preliminary margin for Toscelik was determined as 0.00 percent. Based on the comments received, the DOC decided not to make any changes in the preliminary results. Accordingly, the following duty margin exists for the period May 1, 2004, through April 30, 2005:
