On Wednesday, January 21, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the extension of the time limit for the preliminary results of the administrative review of the antidumping (AD) duty order against stainless steel plate in coils from Belgium.
On July 1, 2008, the DOC initiated an administrative review of the AD duty order on stainless steel plate in coils from Belgium with respect to one manufacturer, Ugine & ALZ Belgium (U&A Belgium).
Accordingly, the DOC has determined that completion of the preliminary results of the review within the 245-day period is not practicable. Therefore, the DOC has extended the time period for issuing the preliminary results of the review by 120 days. The preliminary results are due no later than June 1, 2009. The final results continue to be due 120 days after publication of the preliminary results.
The period of review is May 1, 2007 through April 30, 2008.
