US DOC delays preliminary AD decision on certain non-alloy pipe from Mexico

On July 28, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced its decision to postpone the deadline for its preliminary determination in the antidumping (AD) duty review of certain circular welded non-alloy steel pipe from Mexico.
 
The investigation, covering the period of November 1, 2008 to October 31, 2009, is conducted on the request of domestic interested parties Allied Tube and Conduit Corporation and TMK-IPSCO and exporters Tuberia Nacional, S.A. de C.V.'s, Mueller Comercial de Mexico, S. de R.L. de CV and Mueller's affiliated importer Southland Pipe Nipples Co., Inc.

The DOC said that the review deadline has been extended from August 9, 2010 to December 7, 2010.
