On October 31, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping administrative review for steel concrete reinforcing bars imported from South Korea. The review covered Dongkuk Steel Mills (DSM), Korea Iron and Steel Co Ltd (KISCO), and Hwanyoung Steel Industries Co Ltd (HIS) (collectively referred to as the respondents). The period of review was September 1, 2005, through August 31, 2006. Based on the record evidence indicating that the respondents had no entries of the subject merchandise during the period of review, the DOC has decided to rescind the review with respect to the aforementioned South Korean producers.
