On February 1, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review for certain hot-rolled carbon steel products imported from India for the period December 1, 2004, through November 30, 2005. The review covered Indian producer Essar Steel. Having found that that Essar did not ship the subject merchandise to the US during the period of review, the DOC has decided to rescind the review with respect to Essar Steel.
