On April 5, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review for stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings imported from Malaysia for the period February 1, 2005, through January 31, 2006. The review covered Kanzen Tetsu Sdn Bhd and Sapura-Schulz Hydroforming Sdn Bhd. Since petitioners and Sapura withdrew their requests within 90 days of the initiation of the administrative review, the DOC decided to rescind the review with respect to Sapura; however, the review will continue with respect to Kanzen.
