On December 22, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping administrative review on certain hot rolled carbon steel flat products imported from Thailand with respect to Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI) and Nakornthai Strip Mill Public Co Ltd (NSM) for the period November 1, 2004, through October 31, 2005. Since the petitioners withdrew their request for a review with respect to SSI within 90 days of the initiation of the administrative review, the DOC decided to rescind the review with respect to SSI; however, the review with respect to NSM will continue.
