On November 29, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced in the Federal Register the amended final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review for circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand, which were previously announced on October 20, 2010.

As a result of its administrative review covering March 1, 2008, through February 28, 2009, the US DOC has determined a new amended final dumping margin of 1.76 percent instead of 2.13 percent.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, the US DOC had determined a preliminary dumping margin of 4.35 percent for respondent Saha Thai Steel Pipe (Public) Company, Ltd. It also rescinded the administrative review of Pacific Pipe Company Limited.

The petitioners in the investigation are Allied Tube and Conduit Corporation and Wheatland Tube Company.

Imports of steel plate are currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under subheadings 7306.30.1000, 7306.30.5025, 7306.30.5032, 7306.30.5040, 7306.30.5055, 7306.30.5085 and 7306.30.5090.
