US AD/CVD orders against Chinese stainless pressure pipe to remain in effect

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its final determination Tuesday in the sunset review of the antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on circular welded austenitic stainless steel pressure pipe from China.

The ITC made a unanimous affirmative determination that revocation of the orders would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry.

Accordingly, because the US Department of Commerce had likewise made affirmative determinations in its sunset review of these orders, the AD and CVD orders on circular welded austenitic stainless steel pressure pipe from China will remain in force for a further period of five years.
