Universal Stainless receives Nadcap accreditation

Bridgeville, Pennsylvania-based specialty steelmaker Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. announced Thursday that it received Nadcap Materials Testing Laboratory (MTL) accreditation at its North Jackson, Ohio facility.

Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) is the leading worldwide cooperative accreditation program of major companies and their suppliers designed to manage a cost-effective consensus approach to special processes and products and provide continual improvement within the aerospace and defense industries.

"Achieving the Nadcap Lab certification is a further step in our plan to expand our penetration of growing markets," commented Chris Zimmer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We are very proud of this latest accomplishment in North Jackson."
