In the first five months of this year, Ukraine's ferroalloy production decreased by 8.2 percent compared to the same period last year to 398,500 mt, according to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).
Accordingly, in the given period Ukraine's silicomanganese output increased by 3.9 percent to 323,600 mt, its ferromanganese production moved down by 23.5 percent to 33,800 mt, while its ferrosilicon output decreased by 53.1 percent to 36,700 mt, all compared to the January-May period of 2014.
