According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in March this year Ukraine's exports of steel products increased by four percent month on month to 2.023 million mt. In January-March, Ukraine exported 5.880 million mt of steel products, up 8.6 percent year on year.
In March this year, Ukraine registered a 3.3 percent increase month on month in its steel product imports to 112,300 mt. In the January-March period, Ukrainian imports of steel products decreased by 26.1 percent year on year to 305,100 mt.
