Ukrainian pipe producer Centravis increases output in 2011

The Ukrainian stainless seamless pipe producer Centravis has announced that it produced 26,076 mt of pipes in 2011, up 21.6 percent year on year. In the fourth quarter of 2011, the company's pipe output increased by 3.9 percent to 6,912 mt compared to the previous quarter.
 
In 2011, Centravis shipped 15,883 mt of finished products, up 2,795 mt compared to 2010. Sales volumes in the given year reached a value of $205.9 million, increasing by $58.6 million year on year. Sales in the major markets of Europe and the CIS accounted for 51 percent and 42 percent respectively of Centravis' overall sales, while 4.6 percent of sales went to the US.

According to Centravis' statement, in 2011 its EU sales increased by 35 percent, while its sales in the CIS region rose by eight percent, both compared to the previous year.
 
Centravis closed 2011 with a significant order flow especially from European customers. The company expects the growth to continue in 2012 as well.
