Ukrainian pig iron exports up 49 percent in first two months

According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in January-February of the current year Ukrainian exports of pig iron increased by 49 percent year on year to 265,400 mt.

In February alone, exports of pig iron from Ukraine decreased by 33.5 percent compared to January, dropping to 105,600 mt.

In January-February this year, Ukrainian imports of pig iron decreased by 86 percent year on year to 3,500 mt.
