Ukrainian pig iron exports up 20 percent in first seven months

According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in January-July of the current year Ukrainian exports of pig iron increased by 20.4 percent year on year to 1.022 million mt. In July alone, exports of pig iron from Ukraine increased by 1.8 percent compared to June, rising to 146,000 mt.

In January-July this year, Ukrainian imports of pig iron decreased by 46 percent year on year to 18,800 mt.
