Ukrainian iron ore exports up 8% in Jan-Sept

In the January-September period of this year, Ukraine's exports of iron ore increased by eight percent year on year to 28.4 million mt, according to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom. Meanwhile, exports of iron ore from Ukraine decreased by 3.3 percent in September compared to August, falling to 2.9 million mt.

In the January-September period, Ukrainian imports of iron ore increased by 13 percent year on year to 2.080 million mt. In September alone, Ukraine's imports of iron ore decreased by 28 percent compared to August, falling to 170,000 mt.
