Ukrainian ferroalloy output increases by 30.9% in January-May

In the first five months this year, Ukraine's ferroalloy production increased by 30.9 percent compared to the same period last year to 434,100 mt, as stated by the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).

Accordingly, in the given period Ukraine's silicomanganese output increased by 24.1 percent to 311,600 mt, its ferromanganese production went up by 21.1 percent to 44,200 mt, while its ferrosilicon output increased by 89.1 percent to 78,300 mt, all compared to January-May 2013.
