Ukrainian ferroalloy output down 22.4 percent in January-September

In the January-September period this year, Ukraine's ferroalloy production decreased by 22.4 percent compared to the same period last year to 623,500 mt, according to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).

In the given period, Ukraine's silicomanganese output decreased by 17.3 percent to 455,800 mt, while its ferromanganese production declined by 55.3 percent to 60,200 mt, both year on year.

Specifically, in the first nine months of this year the largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant's ferroalloy output decreased by 33.2 percent year on year to 332,800 mt, including 309,400 mt of silicomanganese and 23,400 mt of ferromanganese.
