Ukrainian ferroalloy output declines by 6.4 percent in Jan-Feb

In the first two months of this year, Ukraine's ferroalloy production decreased by 6.4 percent compared to the same period last year to 161,200 mt, as stated by the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).

Accordingly, in the given period Ukraine's silicomanganese output increased by 5.5 percent to 132,700 mt, its ferromanganese production moved down by 30.1 percent to 12,100 mt, while its ferrosilicon output decreased by 50.9 percent to 14,300 mt, all compared to January-February 2014.
