Ukrainian ferroalloy output declines by 1.7 percent in January-April

In the first four months of this year, Ukraine's ferroalloy production decreased by 1.7 percent compared to the same period last year to324,900 mt, as stated by the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).

Accordingly, in the given period Ukraine's silicomanganese output increased by 10.8 percent to 263,700 mt, its ferromanganese production moved down by 10.8 percent to 28,800 mt, while its ferrosilicon output decreased by 52.3 percent to 28,700 mt, all compared to the January-April period of 2014.
