Ukrainian crude steel production declines by six percent in H1

In the first six months of the current year, Ukraine registered a seven percent decrease in its finished steel product output to 13.59 million mt, a six percent decrease in its crude steel output to 15.47 million mt, and a one percent decline in its pig iron production to 14.36 million mt, all year on year, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.

The country's production of metallurgical coke in the given six-month period declined by four percent year on year to 8.53 million mt.
