Ukrainian crude steel output to go down in November from September level

According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in November this year Ukraine's crude steel production is expected to decrease by 4.8 percent compared to September to 2.560 million mt.

According to Metallurgprom's forecast, in November pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.360 million mt, down 3.4 percent compared to the September results, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to total 2.310 million mt, down 0.8 percent compared to September.

In October, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.670 million mt of crude steel, 2.480 million mt of pig iron and 2.450 million mt of rolled steel.
